Product Store Available Now!
In the last edition of the GIS Newsletter we informed you that our Web Services team have been working with our website development and hosting supplier to develop a facility whereby our suppliers in the services frameworks can publish “packaged solutions”. We are happy to inform you that this facility is now available for you to upload your offerings.
If you want to know more or want to discuss this further then feel free to contact Rob MacLeod or Adrian Garvey – contact details are at the end of this newsletter.
For guidance on how to post your packaged solutions on the website and what is required visit the following web page http://ogcbs-new.test.technophobia.com/resources/. The most common way is to upload CSV files and the help file is at the bottom of the screen. If you need any technical help you should email Webservices@ogcbs.gov.uk.
RSS Feeds
You have probably seen the small orange square icons appearing on more and more websites all the time with the name RSS Feed next to them. RSS feeds let you keep up to date with the latest information on all your favourite sites without having to take the trouble to visit them. For further details about RSS Feeds visit the BBC website.
Have you considered adding this feature to your websites to allow customers to keep up to date with your latest news and events?
