Technical Overview

The GSi Remote Worker Service offers a straightforward solution using commonly available and low cost broadband connections, and is already in use by many government departments today.

Users connect over the Internet to an X-Kryptor secure gateway hosted within the GSi Data Centre. User network traffic is passed to the customer's site over their existing GSi connection.

Secure Solution

The GSi Remote Worker Service provides a secure connection between remote users and the GSi by using the X-Kryptor Secure VPN client and gateway from Barron McCann.

The X-Kryptor secure VPN client and gateway has been independently approved by the national technical authority for information assurance, CESG, under the CAPS approval scheme. The GSi Remote Worker Service allows you users to work with document protectively marked up to RESTRICTED.
