MessageLabs Track and Trace

MessageLabs have recently introduced a tool call Track and Trace to their portal, ClientNet. Track and Trace will enable departments to determine if an internet email has been processed by the MessageLabs Email Security Services by searching the logs using specific criteria. From the results, departments will be able to view processing information about the email which will inform them when/if an email was received on the MessageLabs infrastructure, when/if it was scanned, blocked or redirected by an email security service and whether it was delivered successfully. The information will be available up to 30 days after the email is sent.

The vision for Track and Trace is to provide a level of online tracking for email similar to that large parcel delivery companies provide for tracking packages.

Track and Trace is provided within the configuration screens of the ClientNet interface by clicking on the link below:

If you need ClientNet login information, please contact the GSi Service Desk on 0800 316 0245 or through gsicustomerservices@cw.com.
