The GSi Shared Applications Managed Service (SAMS) delivers a comprehensive set of hosting services for the development, hosting and support of applications. Our aim is to enable cross-government working and process improvement as well as knowledge sharing.

The service provides the ability to quickly create, deliver and host applications in a secure environment along with the cost benefits and economies of scale of a shared service The SAMS service exploits GSi common infrastructure and connectivity to secure government communities including all GSi connected organisations, CJX, PNN, TESTA, European Council of Ministers and Government Connect,making the service ideal for applications supporting collaborative working.

Through the GSi, you can get application-level support for your own bespoke or third-party applications or choose GSi SAMS to develop new applications. The service can also manage hand-off of application support to third-party support providers, as required.
